Library branches also provide respite from the weather during their regular hours.
Veterans seeking shelter can go to the Dingell VA Hospital, 4646 John R St., Red Tower 2nd Floor, from 8AM-4:30PM Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays or 11AM-4:30PM Wednesdays.
If you have experienced poor treatment or conditions at a shelter, you can file a grievance with the Detroit Continuum of Care (CoC) or attend an upcoming board meeting.
